A running body of physical and digital swag: stickers, pins, apparel, postcards, and custom gifts, plus full event identities. Made for internal teams and for customers across Shopify, WordPress VIP, and Automattic.
WordPress VIP events: El fuego de VIP
For WordPress VIP’s division meetup in Tulum, the VIP Brand Squad crafted a bespoke event identity rather than leaning on the primary brand. Themed around “Rise” and the idea of the fire we carry within (“el fuego que llevamos dentro”), the system drew on Mexican visual culture: papel-picado cut-out illustration, a rótulos-inspired display typeface, and a palette of VIP’s black and gold plus a warm tone we called “Tulum Naranja.” Many of the deliverables led with Spanish.
The work I did spanned welcome signs, name badges, table numbers and reserved signs, shuttle and podium signage, foldable and foamcore maps, a bar menu, holding slides and a deck template, and a set of Slack emojis.
Lake Como design meetup
For the design team’s meetup at Lake Como, I designed the system of pieces for the event and its swag: a cohesive set of materials and takeaways that carried the meetup’s identity across the week.
Custom shoes for WordPress VIP customers
A custom shoe gift, designed as a keepsake for WordPress VIP customers.
Shopify swag
As part of Shopify’s teams, I created a range of internal swag that let teams celebrate their wins and their sense of belonging: stickers, prints, hoodies, t-shirts, and more.
Shopify Fulfillment animated stickers
For internal and external use, I illustrated a series of Shopify Fulfillment stickers and produced physical versions for merchants’ care packages, working with an in-house animator on digital versions for internal use.
Shopify + Deliverr coins and ‘vault’ pins
After the Deliverr acquisition, the team ran activities and swag to help both sides bond. I designed and produced physical coins and digital ‘vault’ pins.
Delivery Expectations postcards
The team sent postcards to one another, paired with a set of stickers.
Logistics hoodies and jackets
The Shopify Logistics team announced their name with a set of swag pieces for members.
Fulfillment centers 2020 BFCM t-shirts
T-shirt designs for fulfillment-center teams, a gift to prepare for the BFCM peak season.
